Daily Devotional - January 24th

Jan 24, 2025 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Daily Read “ Genesis 48:1-49:33; Matthew 15:29-16:12; Psalm 20:1-9; Proverbs 4:20-27

Psalm 20:6-8
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven
With the saving strength of His right hand.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
 They have bowed down and fallen;
But we have risen and stand upright.

Don't place your trust in the world system for it is temporal and rapidly changing. There are things presently unfolding that will bring major upset sending shock waves throughout the world. Governmental systems and institutions built on foundations of sand are entering a season of intense transition.

I am the only changeless one; I am steady and sure during times of trouble. I lift My beloved ones far above the effects of the storm, into the high thermals of My Spirit. If you will walk in My Spirit and trust Me, you won't be pulled into the buffeting winds of this coming turmoil.

Place your trust in nothing and no one else but your Abba Father. I hear when you call and I attend to your heart cries. Look up, for the answers come from My holy throne and not from the natural realm. I save you with the saving strength of My right hand.

I call you to come deeper into My presence and deeper into My Word of truth. Everything you need is found in My presence, and answers to every question are found in the treasure of My Word.

Remember who I AM in your life. My name resonates throughout creation and nothing can or ever will exalt itself above who I AM!

It grieves My heart to watch as people from every nation bow to the prince of this world.  Paying homage to this system only leads to pain and destruction.

My heart greatly rejoices as I behold My beautiful, blood washed bride boldly standing for righteousness!

Trust Me with your whole heart!

Lord Jesus, I give You permission to search my heart. If there are areas that I have yet to surrender to You, I ask You to minister to those areas of my life. I desire to trust You and You alone. The prayer that You taught us to pray says, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Lord, deliver me from the temptation to rely on anything but You. As an act of my will I choose not to trust in money, jobs, institutions, or news reports. I want to hear from You Lord Jesus and trust what You say. I don't want to be numbered with those who trust in chariots and in horses, but I want to be one who remembers and trusts in Your Name!  Amen!
