1 John 4:17-19
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment;
because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear,
because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
We love Him because He first loved us.
You are safe and secure in the embrace of My love. I first loved you when seeing you from within My heart. Fear has no place or dominion in you because My love permeates throughout your entire being. Fear must flee in the presence of My perfect love.
There is no reason to fear anything from Me. I am Your loving heavenly Father. Fear is equated with punishment, but My love covers and eradicates the penalty for your sin as far as the east is from the west. When looking on you, I see a beautiful, blood washed child complete in Christ Jesus. In fact, His love is perfected in you and as He is, so are you in this world. In Him, you live, move, and have your being.
As My Son walked the earth, He demonstrated My love to all. He healed the sick, brought hope to the hopeless, touched the broken hearted, and delivered the oppressed. As He is, so are you!
Do not allow the paralyzing effects of fear to keep you from walking out My plans and purposes. When fear torments you, it is because you do not have full revelation of My love. You are still operating from a place of having to perform working to attain My acceptance instead of resting in your position seated in heavenly places with My Son, Christ Jesus.
When feeling unsafe, this is a sure indication you have jumped from the security of My arms into the shackles of self-reliance and control. Repent and run back into My arms of safety.
Remember, you can love Me, knowing that I first loved you!
Father, forgive me for allowing anyone or anything to rob me from the revelation of Your love. I repent for holding onto old mindsets that lead away from You and into old thought patterns of fear. I refuse to allow fear to paralyze me from experiencing Your perfect love. You are not a man who would lie. When You say, "As Christ is so am I in this world", I choose to believe it! Forgive me for jumping from Your Lordship into my own in this area. As an act of my will, I choose to stay in the safety and security of who You say I am, to resist the enemy of fear, and watch him flee! As He is so am I in this world....In Jesus Name, Amen!
