Daily Read “ Ezekiel 10:1-11:25; Hebrews 6:1-20; Psalm 105:16-36; Proverbs 27:1-2

 Psalm 105:24
He increased His people greatly,
And made them stronger than their enemies.

Samson was blessed with a supernatural strength that brought amazement to everyone. His strength increased daily as he obediently followed My instructions. His strength grew as his hair grew.

Envy and contempt entered the hearts of his enemies and they plotted to bring him down. The enemy prowled as a lion searching for his weakness. The tempter found vulnerability, an open door that won entrance into his mind causing him to enter into sin.

Immediately his strength left, leaving him weak and helpless in the presence of his enemies. He became a mockery before his peers and the enemies of his soul. Guilt and shame imprisoned him, causing more pain than the chains that bound his hands and feet. Everyone abandoned him, except the ONE. There was someone watching and keeping notice of his heart. With each passing moment, the Lover of his soul listened to the inner cries of his heart waiting for his will to shift.

In the center of the darkest night of his soul, a transformation began to occur. His heart started turning towards Me, his God. During this wilderness journey, his hair grew but so did his strength because heart returned to his First Love. Unbeknownst to the enemy, My secret weapon arose in the middle of all of his mockers and triumphed, making a show of them openly.

Your strength does not come from your ability, but from your obedience. Close all doors to self-reliance and pride and once and for all, come back to Me!

As you face the temptations in this day, realize that the God of all, the greater One resides within. Despite how you feel or what the enemy plans, you are stronger because I am your strength! In your weaknesses, I AM MADE STRONG!

I have made you stronger (tougher) than hell itself!

Lord God, I turn from the temptation of pride and self-reliance and run into Your arms of strength and protection. I desire to grow in strength, and I know this can only happen when I decrease to allow Your increase. I desire to walk in obedience, which allows the fruit of that obedience to grow. I realize when I am disobedient, my fruit ceases to grow and shrivels. I surrender to Your strength in my life. Amen!
