Daily Devotional - October 21st

Daily Read “ Jeremiah 37:1-38:28; 1 Timothy 6:1-21; Psalm 89:38-52; Proverbs 25:28
For the Word says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
I am your Jehovah Jireh. I see ahead into your future and I provide everything you need. Money, in and of itself, is not the problem. I use money and the world system to bless you. In fact, I am in the process of releasing a great transference of wealth from the wicked to My Church for the purposes of establishing My covenant on this earth. However, money cannot be your source!
Money becomes evil when it replaces Me as your first love on the throne of your heart. This opens the door for the enemy to pierce your soul with many arrows of sorrows. Remember, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
I want to bless your finances, but I need your surrender. I long to be your treasure in every area of your heart. I desire to be your Lord and the only one sitting on the throne in your heart.
When you seek first My Kingdom and righteousness, the idol of mammon crumbles and falls into the abyss. It is dethroned and loses control in your life. When this blockade is removed, My blessings can begin moving and flowing freely in and through you.
Thank You for the reminder Lord! If in any area I have placed money/mammon before You, I repent. I dethrone that idol now in the Name of Jesus Christ and command it bound and powerless to the abyss. You are My treasure and my heart belongs to You alone. I rest in the fact that You see my tomorrow and have provided exactly what I need. I seek Your Kingdom and righteousness first. In Jesus Name, Amen.
