Daily Read “ Jeremiah 8:8-9:26; Colossians 3:1-17; Psalm 78:32-55; Proverbs 24:27
You are in this world, but you are not of this world. You are a citizen and ambassador from heaven. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, My very special child. Dual citizenship is not recognized in the Kingdom. In fact, it is a detriment because you cannot have one foot in the Kingdom and one foot in the world.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are in the heavenly Kingdom where Christ sits at My right hand. Set your mind and affections on these things for they are eternal. As you begin to recognize where you actually reside, the things of this earthly realm will have less influence on your life.
When you accepted the blood sacrifice of My Son, you received His forgiveness. The old died and you arose into the new. Your life is now hidden in Christ Jesus. Begin to live from this reality. This is who you are as My blood washed, redeemed child. You live in heavenly places seated with My Son. You are My heir through Him who loved you and gave His life for you.
Father, thank You for sending Your precious Son to die for me. Jesus, thank You for giving Your life and spilling Your blood for my redemption. Forgive me for not living in the fullness of who I am. I have been entangled in the web of this world system. It has held me down from living from my true position seated with You in heavenly places. I do not want dual citizenship. I only want to live, move, and have my being in and through You. I want to remain hidden in You. Yes and Amen!
Colossians 3:1-4
