Daily Devotional - October 6th

Daily Read “ Jeremiah 6:16-8:7; Colossians 2:8-23; Psalm 78:1-31; Proverbs 24:26
Colossians 2:13-15
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us,
which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Do you realize when you receive the sacrificial gift of My Son, your sins are completely forgiven and washed away? Every sin you have committed is gone forever. You were dead and now you live together with Him. Every action, deed, and word birthed from sin is nailed to the cross and covered in the precious redeeming blood of Christ. An eternal exchange takes place.
Jesus went to hell and stripped Satan of all power and authority. He literally disrobed him making a show of him openly. He exposed him for who he truly was and triumphantly displayed this before all creation. Jesus took the keys to death, hell, and the grave. My glory shot through hell and blew it apart as resurrection life infused My Son triumphing over every work of the evil one. Satan's domain forever crumbled and suffered irreparable damage.
The same power I used to raise Christ from the dead dwells in you. Satan knows this power resides within you and is terrified when you walk in and release it through your life. He knows the only way to stop you from walking in the fulness of this power is to hold you captive to sin. However, Jesus paid the price for all sin and waits for you to repent and surrender it to Him.
You have the power to resurrect gifts and callings that have been dormant inside of you, or you have the power to resurrect past failures and sins that are nailed to the cross.
Father, I refuse to allow the past to rise from the dead. It is nailed to the cross and no longer obstructs my destiny. I refuse to allow anything to hinder what You have called me to accomplish in the Kingdom. I release Your resurrection life that I possess and call forth my gifts, talents, callings, and destiny. Today, I come out of hiding knowing Jesus stripped Satan of all power and authority. I release the dunamis, miracle working, and resurrecting power of Christ into my day. As I continue to do this, Satan's domain continues to crumble and suffer extraordinary damage....
