Come and Behold the works of the Lord - Psalm 46:8

Come away My beloved. Come away from the world of self and enterMy heart, seated in heavenly places. Cease from your laborious deeds and allow My Spirit to catch you away to behold My glorious works.

It is from this place you find freedom from the world’s affections and receive the revelation that I am your refuge. Yes, the earth and all of creation trembles, but you will not fear for your affections and trust are toward Me.

In the place of turmoil, you will not ask, "Why, Lord?"  Instead, you will find rest in the place of My refuge. It is from this place, I reveal the mysteries and purposes of each trial. Quiet your soul in My presence...listen, be still and know that I am your God!

Precious Heavenly Father,
I come in the awesome Name of Jesus and repent for allowing my affections to be placed on vainglory. I surrender those areas of my life to You. I choose to fix my gaze on You and rest in the knowledge I am safe in your refuge.
