Come and Behold the works of the Lord - Psalm 46:8

Come away My beloved. Come away from the world of self and enter into My heart, seated in heavenly places. Cease from reflecting on your laborious deeds and allow My Spirit to catch you away to behold My glorious works.

[Under His Wings] It is from this place, free from the affections of this world that you will receive the revelation that I am your refuge. Yes, the earth and all of creation shakes and groans, but you will not fear for your affections are subject to Me.

In the midst of turmoil, you will not ask, "Why, Lord?", but rather, you will rest in the place of My refuge seeking Me as to how My ways and purposes are being worked out in your life through the turmoil. Quiet your soul in My presence...listen and be still and know that I am God!

Precious Heavenly Father,
I come in the awesome Name of Jesus asking You to forgive me for allowing my affections to be on vainglory. I surrender those areas of my life to You. I choose to fix my gaze on You alone, resting in the knowledge that You are with me keeping me safe in Your refuge.
