Daily Read – Leviticus 20:22-22:16; Mark 9:1-29; Psalm 43:1-5; Proverbs 10:18
Lord Jesus, I cry out to You saying, "I believe, but help my unbelief!" I want nothing more than to come to You as a child believing all things are possible.
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe,
all things are possible to him who believes."
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears,
"Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"
Reveal to me those areas in my life that hold onto doubt and unbelief hindering my ability to believe that You can do what You say. Help my unbelief Lord, in fact; rip it out by the roots.
If it is lodged in my generational line, I ask You to sovereignly purge it out along with every stronghold that empowers it. If it encases parts of my heart because of past trauma and disappointment, I ask You to sovereignly wash over those areas removing the lies and deception and bring Your healing and restoration.
Lord, I know the hour is urgent and I need to be in a place of trust and faith. I do not want to be among those who shipwreck because of double-minded thinking. When things around me shake and tremble, I want to be in a place of confident assurance knowing in whom I believe that You are faithful.
Regardless of the situation, I want to believe that all things are possible. With You holding me, there is no such thing as an insurmountable mountain or an unconquerable frontier because all things are possible.
Precious Jesus, I choose to place my trust in You and believe what You say. You are not a man that You should lie, but You are the ultimate promise keeper. Treasured promises fill the pages of Your Holy Word and I believe and receive every one of them as part of my inheritance.
Lord, I believe and I dethrone unbelief!
In Your mighty and trustworthy Name, Amen
