Aug 29, 2024 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Daily Read - Job 31:1-33:33; 2 Corinthians 3:1-18; Psalm 43:1-5; Proverbs 22:8-9

Are you facing what seems to be a Goliath in your life today?  Is the enemy using people to spread rumors and untruth about you defaming your character?  Did you have a hard time getting out of bed today concerned with the problems that lurk on the other side of your door?

Be of good cheer, Jesus your deliverer is here! The giant killer goes before you slaying every enemy and demolishing every ambush that is set up in your path. He is Your God and He vindicates His child before all of heaven. Jesus is your defense attorney and He hasn't lost a case yet in the court of heaven.

Psalm 43 is a prayer from David to Father God. As you read it, pray it aloud so your soul can hear it.  Tell your soul all day long, "Hope in God."

Psalm 43
Vindicate me, O God,
And plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
For You are the God of my strength;
Why do You cast me off?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!
Let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your holy hill
And to Your tabernacle.
Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God my exceeding joy;
And on the harp I will praise You,
O God, my God.
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.
