Job 3:25
For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me,
And what I dreaded has happened to me.

Fear is one of the most deadly weapons in the arsenal of hell. The enemy uses fear frequently against God's people because he knows it works so well against them. Fear slithers into the mind finding a hiding place to lodge within the thoughts and imaginations of people. He begins networking with other similar spirits such as dread, worry, anxiety, and negative expectations setting up scenarios to scare us into believing.

Remember, Satan is the father of lies and the only power he has is what we give him when we choose to believe his lies and buy into his baseless scenarios of doom. To avoid this pit fall, it is vitally important to apply the principals found in the Bible that counter this demonic strategy.

God gives us powerful insight in regards to our thought life and when activated and implemented in our lives, proves tremendously fruitful. One such example is found in 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 where Paul writes, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

It is important to take control over our thoughts. They will make or break our day according to where we place our focus. If we entertain thoughts of disaster and doom coming upon our lives, the enemy will make sure he sits down alongside of us to feed our stinking thinking. However, if we recognize the tactics of the enemy and immediately command those thoughts down in Christ's name fear, dread, and every other networking demon has no choice but to immediately leave.

As we begin our day, we have two choices where to place our focus; on the negative, evil side of things or on the good and God side of things.  Which one produces the fruit you want to eat today? Which one brings life? Which one brings a promised hope and future?

Think about it...
The answer is quite clear!
